Early Influences

Raised amidst the timeless interiors of English villages, Shabs developed a fascination for the interplay of colors, textures, and furnishings—a passion that would shape her journey in design.

Finance to Design

After achieving a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Masters in Finance, Shabs’ attention to detail met the arts at Conde Nast Publications, working with Glamour, Vogue, and House and Garden magazines. During this chapter she immersed herself in the intricacies of fashion and interior design and her admiration for homes flourished, leading her to pursue personal design projects.

A New Chapter

In 2011, Shabs and her family made the leap to Seattle. Taking a career break to raise her three children, the meaning of home grew stronger as did her passion for interior design alongside it. She transitioned from finance to explore her excitement for interiors, starting as an intern and working her way up to Procurement Manager at a boutique firm in Seattle.

Today, Shabs resides in Madison Park with her family, where their home serves as a sanctuary and a testing ground for her creative vision. Here, she explores different design avenues to cultivate interiors filled with memories that reflect her family’s past, present, and future.
